For our first monthly event, we’ll meet at the Center for Urban Horticulture at the Union Bay Natural Area aka Montlake Fill. This park is one of the best in the city for urban birding due to the variety of habitats. We’ll seek a wide variety of bird species across forest, prairie, marsh and the shore of Lake Washington. The hike is on mostly flat trails. For details on recent sightings, see eBird.org.
